Why I built this
I wanted a corner of the internet that's truly mine — not a social media profile, not a template blog, but a carefully designed space that reflects how I think and what I care about.
Most personal websites feel either too corporate or too basic. I wanted something in between: clean and intentional, but with enough personality and polish that it feels like it was made by a real person who cares about the details.
How it works
The site is intentionally simple under the hood. Articles are written as plain text files, the design adapts between dark and light modes, and the whole thing loads fast because there's no unnecessary complexity.
Adding new content is straightforward: write a text file, add one line to a list, and it appears on the site automatically. No dashboard, no login, no bloat.
Design choices
The visual style uses subtle depth effects, soft ambient gradients, and careful typography to create something that feels refined without being flashy. Every element earns its place on the page.
Both dark and light modes are first-class citizens — not an afterthought. The color palette, contrast ratios, and visual hierarchy are tuned independently for each mode.
